Winter Wedding: 10 cozy ideas in decor

1. TEXTILE
Lace, yarn, fur and velvet are great for winter wedding. They can be chosen in any color and used in different ways: to decorate the hall or your images, to decorate tables, invitations or to style a photo shoot.

They can be a bright, memorable detail, or preserve and emphasize the delicate atmosphere that the white color of snow brings to the wedding. Blankets and stoles for you and guests not only warm you in a cold evening, but also give you a feeling of home comfort.

And for yourself you can order a long warm mantle. White or more bright, for example, in tone of lipstick. This will be the original part of your image and will save from the weather.

2. NATURAL MATERIALS
Cinnamon sticks, rowan twigs, needles, cotton, moss, logs, apples, citrus – these natural details transform the space and fill it with an incredible winter smell.

Another interesting element is the usual branches of trees, painted in gold, silver or white, depending on the style and color of the wedding. They can be put on the floor in large vases or on tables instead of flowers, decorated with beads and crystals.

3. CANDLES AND LIGHTS
This is what will really add comfort to your holiday! Large and massive, thin and long or very small candles, forged candlesticks, transparent cans in which the lights flicker with a warm light – all this will create a pleasant and romantic atmosphere.

Candles can be arranged along the holiday table or select separate zones for them in the banquet hall. In any case, they will not be superfluous. Garlands can decorate the table of the newlyweds and the wedding arch, moreover, they are easy to give almost any shape – it all depends on your imagination and the chosen theme.

And you can leave the wedding along the Bengal path, which will be held by friends and relatives.

4. FOOD AND DRINKS
Alcohol, of course, is a feverish element, but mulled wine, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, which can be served even before the ceremony, especially if it takes place outdoors, will really warm you up.

Any sweets are ideally suited to these drinks, so the menu to the buffet table will be selected by itself – muffins sprinkled with powdered sugar and berries, marshmallows, gingerbread cookies in the form of various figures, gingerbread houses, bright caramel, jars of honey and jam …

If you are celebrating a wedding in the circle of those closest to you, you can make personalized mugs for hot drinks as compliments for guests.

5. COLORS AND FLOWERS
With these elements you need to be especially careful. A very popular color combination for a winter wedding is red and green. If you chose him – try not to overdo it, because the guests may get the impression that they are celebrating the New Year, and not the wedding.

The blessing with the white tint of a winter wedding combines many colors. Blue, gold, silver, red, brown and their shades. But it is important to choose not poisonous tones, but more muffled and deep ones.

If you still decided to decorate the wedding with fresh flowers – it is desirable to choose frost-resistant varieties. For example, dark roses, calla lilies, tulips, gerberas, hydrangeas, anemones. White carnations, irises, alstroemeria and some varieties of roses do not tolerate cold. Therefore, be sure to listen to the advice of the florist. And just in case, order a duplicate bouquet.
